Emma Brown, is a Forensic Psychologist in Training at Forensic Psychology Practice. She holds a BSc (Hons) Psychology, MSc in Forensic Psychology, undertaking HCPC Forensic Practitioner Training at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Emma previously worked for His Majesty’s Prison Service, conducting assessments with and facilitating offending behaviour programmes for a range of male offenders with various needs and offences, both on a group and a one-to-one basis. This included those convicted of violent offences, murder, and gang-affiliated offences, some of which presented with complex emotional, psychological and neurodivergent needs. During undergraduate and postgraduate study, she has conducted academic research in the field of forensic psychology, critically analysed empirical literature and developed strong research skills.
Emma has experience in the clinical interviewing, case formulation and psychometric administration in assessing a wide range of behaviours in adults and children.
